Import Journals (bulk)

The import flow matches other modules for consistency.

1. Upload File
   • File types: CSV, TSV, Excel (max 20 MB)
   • Download Sample CSV to format your data correctly
   • For CSV, set Delimiter and Encoding; preview appears after upload
2. Map Fields
   • Map your file columns to BeeBooks fields (Journal No., Date, Currency, Exchange Rate, Description, Line Account, Contact, Debit, Credit, etc.)
   • You can discard non-required columns
3. Review Import
   • See Total, Valid, and Invalid rows
   • Duplicates: Skip / Replace / Error
   • Errors: Skip non-required parsing errors or Skip all invalid records
4. Confirm Import
   • If all rows are valid, confirm to import
   • Journals appear in All Journals

Validation: Each journal in your file must balance (sum of debits = sum of credits). Unbalanced rows will be flagged during review.
