Purchases & Expenses Reports
The Purchases & Expenses reports in BeeBooks help you track purchases, expenses, and billable costs—so you can see what you’re spending on, who you’re buying from, and which expenses are linked to customers.
All reports support: Date range selection, Column customization, Sorting, and Export (PDF, XLSX, CSV).
1) Purchases by Item
Displays details of items purchased during the selected period.
Columns
- Item Name
- Item Type (Product/Service)
- Item Category
- SKU
- Quantity
- Average Price (BDT)
- Final Amount (BDT)
Options
- Group by: Item Category, Item Type
- Advanced filters: Items, Item Categories
- Include/exclude any column
2) Expense Details
Lists all expense transactions with payment information.
Columns
- Expense No
- Payment Date
- Payment Mode
- Supplier
- Customer
- Amount (BDT)
- Billable (tick/cross)
Advanced Filters
- Expense No, Payment Date, Payment Mode, Reference, Amount, Billable (Yes/No)
3) Expenses by Customer
Shows customer-wise breakdown of expenses—useful for analyzing billable costs.

- Customer
- Expense Count
- Total Expense (BDT)
Options
- Group by: Customer Name
- Advanced filters: Expense No, Reference, Payment Mode
- Include/exclude columns
4) Purchases by Supplier
Summarizes purchases and expenses by supplier.

- Advanced filters: specific Supplier(s)
- Filter Types: Before (a given date), After (a given date), Between (default: start date & end date)

Tracks expenses and purchases that are billable to customers.
